Through the TIPS Cooperative Purchasing contract, our team took a comprehensive design-build approach to modernize these Olathe North High School athletic facilities from the ground up. We focused on seamless execution and long-term durability, rebuilding the tennis facility while simultaneously upgrading the running track and amenities to deliver a complete, turnkey renovation ahead of the school year.
Our scope began with subgrade preparation, extensive concrete tearout, and the construction of a new post-tension concrete slab for the tennis courts, finished with high-performance court surfacing, rebuilt the surrounding sidewalks and amenities, and full site restoration. For the running track, we removed and replaced the inside concrete curb to the proper elevation, applied a protective structural spray across all track surfaces, and restriped the lines.
The project transformed an aging space into a state-of-the-art athletic complex built to withstand years of heavy use and competition. By pairing durable post-tension concrete for the tennis courts, with expert surfacing and track restoration, we provided the client with a safe, visually striking, and low-maintenance facility for their athletes and community.
