At Our Best With Design-Build
At McConnell & Associates, we believe the best outcomes start with alignment–and that’s exactly what the Design-Build method delivers. By managing both under one roof, we streamline communication, reduce delays, and keep your project aligned from day one. Whether it’s a parking lot repair, grading improvement, or full-scale sports construction, our Design-Build method allows us to deliver smart, site-specific solutions—no matter the size or complexity of the job.
With Design-Build, you benefit from:
- Fewer miscommunications
- Faster project timelines
- Tighter cost control
- One point of accountability
Our in-house team understands your goals and your site—because we help shape both from the beginning.
We also support schools and public agencies through cooperative purchasing with TIPS (The Interlocal Purchasing System), which simplifies procurement and eliminates the need for formal bidding.
While Design-Build is our preferred method, we’re fully equipped to deliver successful results through traditional Design-Bid-Build when required.

Project Managers Who Stay Involved
Every project begins with a dedicated, hands-on MAC project manager—who stays with you from first meeting through final walkthrough. Our project managers are experienced professionals committed to continuous improvement. Many hold a four-year construction management degree, and several have advanced certifications, including Post-Tension Institute (PTI) Slab-on-Ground Certification, ASBA Certified Tennis Court Builder, and ASBA Certified Track Builder designations. Click here to learn more about ASBA certifications.
Our project managers have access to the latest technology to support accurate planning and execution including drone-assisted site surveys, dual-slope lasers, and GNSS-guided grading equipment for precise planning and layout.
GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) combines signals from multiple global satellite constellations and uses real-time corrections from our base station or RTK network to ensure accuracy. Once calibrated to the site, our equipment connects directly to these systems, allowing us to execute each job with speed, efficiency, and exacting precision.
What you can expect:
- Hands-on project managers with educational backgrounds and proven expertise
- Detailed, accurate estimates delivered quickly
- Technology-driven site analysis for better planning
- One consistent point of contact throughout the project
- In most cases, you’ll receive your bid within one week of the request
