A day in the life.
Full Time Opportunities
Get hands-on experience operating real equipment and vehicles in the field. Our crews work with modern, well-maintained machinery and vehicles.
Kansas City, MO
- Dirt/Prep Crew: Operate mini excavators, skid steers, rollers, D5 dozers, 953 and 963 track loaders, 924k front-end loaders, and any other equipment necessary for successful completion of job. Labor on the job site as needed.
- Asphalt Crew: Operate pavers, rollers, skid steers, and any other equipment necessary for successful completion of job. Labor on the job site as needed.
- CDL A Drivers: Drive local routes in Kansas City Metro. Driving will include tractors, dump trucks, and tank trucks pulling pneumatics, flatbeds, box vans, and drop decks with tanks on them.
- Construction Laborer: Drive various-sized trucks to and from the job sites. Labor on the job site as needed.
St. Louis, mo

Summer Internships
Our internship program is designed for interns to work directly with experienced professionals in project management and field operations—gaining experience that translates directly to long-term careers.
- Available in Kansas City, MO and St. Louis, MO
- On-campus interviews begin in September for the following summer
- Most internship offers are accepted by October for the following summer
Heavy Equipment Operations & Management Students (HEOM): You’ll complete your summer internship requirement while gaining hands-on experience operating real equipment in the field. From day one, you’ll be part of the crew—learning on the job and setting yourself up for a full-time role after graduation by getting valuable experience and mentorship from our team. Civil Engineering Technology Students (CVT): Looking for opportunities to show you the project operations side of the industry? Explore our internships as a field engineer, site engineer, or estimating/project manager. These roles manage the day-to-day field operations of internal crews, materials, and/or subcontractors. These roles assist in monitoring cost control, quality, productivity, and safety in our projects.

Summer Opportunities
Looking to gain experience? We regularly hire summer laborers in our St. Louis and Kansas City offices. It’s great for students who want to get some hand on construction experience over the summer and learn more about our operations.
