McConnell & Associates partnered with the NKC Road District to renew neighborhood and arterial streets. Early in the year, we submitted pricing for each roadway under consideration. NKC Road District then selected the priorities, and together we locked in phasing and traffic plans by early summer. We started with asphalt milling, followed by an asphalt overlay, and then finished with precise line striping/pavement marking. This restored ride quality, extended pavement life, and improved safety with clean, highly visible markings.
The result is a consistent and predictable program that maximizes the budget and minimizes disruption for NKC residents.
