Track surface patching, new basemat paving on javelin runway and long jump runways, structural spray wearing coarse application

Description

This TIPS cooperative purchasing program project gave us the chance to help a great new customer get their track back to the level athletes expect.

With the existing track surface showing failure in key areas, our team stepped in with targeted track patching to restore consistency underfoot. We also addressed the biggest wear points beyond the oval: the javelin and long jump runways. After removing the failing rubber surfacing, we installed new basemat paving to rebuild a stable foundation and set the stage for long-term performance.

To tie it all together and protect the entire system, we finished with a structural spray, applying two full coats across the entire track surface. Structural spray is a proven maintenance step recommended every 5–7 years, helping extend the useful life of the track while keeping the surface safe, consistent, and competition-ready for seasons to come.
