Scope of Work

Track surface patching, new basemat paving long jump runways, structural spray wearing coarse application

Description

As a new TIPS Cooperative Purchasing Program contract partner, we were brought in to help a customer who needed answers. From day one, we laid out our process clearly, earned their trust, and delivered the kind of communication that keeps a project running smoothly. With consistent updates from our crew leader and foreman, the customer always knew what was happening.

On the ground, our team tackled the track’s trouble spots with detailed surface patching to restore damaged areas and improve consistency underfoot. We removed failing rubber from the long jump runways, installed new basemat paving, and set the foundation for better performance moving forward. To finish strong, we applied two coats of structural spray wearing course across the entire track surface, refreshing the system and extending the life of the facility.

Structural spray is one of the smartest maintenance investments a track owner can make, typically recommended every 5–7 years to preserve performance, protect the rubber basemat, and maximize the track’s useful life. The result: a renewed, better-performing facility and a customer who has a team they can rely on to keep their facility competition-ready.
